Job Purpose:

The General Manager Aftersales is responsible for overseeing the after-sales operations of the dealership, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving profitability. This role involves managing the service department, parts department, and customer relations to deliver exceptional service and support to our customers.

BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION:

Leadership and Management:
• Lead and manage the after-sales team, including service advisors, technicians, and parts staff.
• Set performance targets and monitor progress to ensure departmental goals are met.
• Provide training and development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Customer Service:
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Implement customer feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service quality.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and repeat business.

Operational Efficiency:
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service and parts departments to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure availability of parts and accessories.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures to streamline processes and improve service delivery.

Financial Management:
• Develop and manage the after-sales budget, including revenue and expense forecasting.
• Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to achieve profitability targets.
• Analyze financial reports and identify areas for cost reduction and revenue enhancement.

Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and dealership policies.
• Promote a safe working environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Marketing and Business Development:
• Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote after-sales services and attract new customers.
• Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion of after-sales services.
• Collaborate with the sales department to support vehicle sales through after-sales initiatives.

Adherence to Instructions and Reporting:
• Adhere to all instructions and guidelines provided by the Principal OEM.
• Regularly report to the Principal OEM on after-sales performance, compliance, and other relevant metrics.

REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Automotive Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience in after-sales management within the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
• Knowledge of automotive service and parts operations.
• Proficiency in using dealership management software and other relevant tools.

Working Conditions:
• Full-time position with occasional weekend and evening work required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Physical ability to inspect vehicles and parts as needed.
